This Picture Jasper beauty has been strung on an 18” silver plated braid chain. Jasper is an opaque variety of quartz. Its rustic appearance of banding and veining was created when silicate mud seeped into pockets in earliest volcanic rock. Large deposits of Picture Jasper have been located in Africa and Brazil.
