This Variscite, wire wrap necklace, has been designed just for you. It has been wrapped with antique copper wire and strung on a 17” or 19” (with an extender) antique mesh necklace. Variscite is a relatively rare mineral that is often confused with turquoise. It’s usual green color is often combined with gray, black, yellow, and sometimes brown. The stone polishes very nicely and is often used in jewelry. Variscite has a Mohs hardness of only 3.5 to 5. It’s mined in Utah, Nevada, and Wyoming in the U.S. and a few places in Europe.
