This beautiful Jasper (approximately 1 3/4”W x 2”H) gemstone has been attached to a high-quality spring clip for easy cord adjustment. The 36” cord is two-toned brown leather with gold-colored tips. Jasper is an opaque variety of quartz. Its rustic appearance of banding and veining was created when silicate mud seeped into pockets in earliest volcanic rock. Large deposits of Picture Jasper have been located in Africa and Brazil.
